TREORCHY DO JANG 20^TH ANNIVERSARY YEAR

Master John Trudgill 

Founder of the Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation.

Treorchy Tang Soo Do has been running for 20 years, with well over 180 practicing members, this makes the Treorchy class the largest and most successful Tang Soo Do class in the United Kingdom. Master Trudgill has Three assistant instructors within the class Master Steve Collinson, Kyo Sa Scott Richards, Kyo Sa Carol Trudgill and Kyo Sa Allyson Jones. Treorchy Tang Soo Do  is the only full time Martial Arts centre in the Rhondda Valleys and the only full time Tang Soo Do centre in Wales.

Yes that is correct i would personally like to thank all 50 buddies who attended our "Bring a Buddy" evening on Thursday 13th November. The evening could only be described a INCREDIBLE. Special congratulations goes to Mr Thomas Liddon who won the star prize of Game Vouchers. Pictured below is only a tiny proportion of the children who attended the evening.

Student of the Year 2007

 The 'Student of the year' for 2007 is Miss Emily Kinsey

This award is given to that person who we feel has put the most effort into training and who has contributed the most

 to each class. This award is given to that person who is exceptional in the class, not just in her ability in Tang Soo Do, 

but in her attitude and dedication. This individual again attends far more classes than is necessary just to grade, helps 

the younger (and older) members of the class if they are having difficulty with any techniques. 

Most importantly this young lady is a pleasure to teach.

Most Improved Student of the Year

The 'most improved student' award is fairly self explanatory, it is presented to the individuals whom I feel have made the the greatest 

improvements in the class over the last twelve months. They are the Students I feel has made great personal strides in class, who have

tried the hardest to correct any technique, who have in every class listened, learned and applied what they have learned. It is awarded 

to the students whose Tang Soo Do has improved markedly as a direct result of their continual effort and commitment.

It just goes to show that with persistance, hard work and dedication anything is possible.
